Our Service Areas
Based at 1240 Moose Rd in Berryville, VA and covering Clarke County, Frederick County and the Northern Shenandoah Valley since 1977.
Where We Work
The shop sits on Moose Rd in Berryville, and that is where every truck rolls out of in the morning. From there we work Winchester, Clarke County, Frederick County, and the towns strung along Route 11 and Route 340.
It is the same ground the family has worked since 1977. We know which yards the bucket truck can get into, which lanes are too soft after a rain, and which old field trees around here have been dropping limbs for years.
Most of the work sits inside about a thirty minute run from the Berryville shop, and there is no travel charge anywhere inside our normal service area.

View Area1240 Moose Rd, Berryville
Everything stages out of the Berryville yard. Trucks, chipper, skid steer and crew leave from one place, which is why a job in Boyce or White Post gets an estimate fast.
Eight towns and counties sit on the list above. There is no travel charge inside our normal range, and somebody answers the phone 24 hours a day.
What We Bring
The Bucket Truck
It gets a man up into the crown without putting spikes in a tree you plan to keep. It is the reason we can work a limb hanging over a roof instead of guessing at it from the ground.
The Chipper and Chip Truck
Brush goes into the chipper as fast as the saw drops it, so the yard never gets buried. The chips leave with the truck unless you want them left for mulch.
The Skid Steer and Grapple
It picks up the heavy wood the crew should not be dragging by hand. It also means we get off your property the same day on most jobs.
Somebody Answers

- Do you charge extra to travel to my town?
No. There is no travel charge anywhere inside our normal service area, and most of the work sits inside about a thirty minute run from the Berryville shop. We cover a good bit more ground than the list on this page. If you are outside our range we will tell you rather than waste your time.
- How fast can you get to a tree in Winchester or Clarke County?
Routine work is generally a week or two out depending on the season. Emergencies are handled by danger, so a tree on an occupied house goes ahead of everything else. Call (540) 514-7906 and we will tell you honestly where you stand.
- Are estimates really free?
Yes. Free, no obligation, and you get a firm written price before any work begins. We are not going to start a job and then discover it costs more.
- Are you insured, and can I see the certificate?
Yes, general liability and workers compensation. We will send you the certificate of insurance before work starts if you want to see it, and you should want to see it from anybody you hire for tree work.
- Do you clean up and haul everything away?
Yes, cleanup and hauling are included in the price. Brush gets chipped, wood gets hauled, and the ground gets raked before we pull out.
Not Sure If You Are in Range?
Call and ask. We cover a good bit more ground than the list above, and there is no travel charge inside our normal service area. If you are outside it we will tell you rather than waste your time.
